Gospel musician, Nicholas Omane Acheampong has indicated that gospel musicians just like any human being are fallible.

The ‘Aporsor’ hit maker in an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz said many people are of the view that gospel musicians are supposed to live a life free from blemish. In as much as he will urge all gospel musicians and believers to watch their actions, he believes there is always a point where one will err but the most important thing is the fellow realising his mistakes than rotting in them.

“Gospel musicians are also humans. We all make mistakes. I’m not righteous. If God were to base on my shortcomings, I wouldn’t qualify to be a gospel musician. So don’t say because we are gospel musicians, we are the only people who should get our things right. Whether you are a journalist or a driver, let what you do benefit mankind because you will account for your stay on earth,” he said.

“It is good to stay righteous and serve as an example for others but the focus should not be on gospel musicians alone. A gospel musician is not more righteous than anybody. It is just by grace. No one is righteous. What we need to do is to avoid arrogance and be humble,” Nicholas Omane Acheampong added.
