Dumelo also urged critics of President John Mahama to get off his back and give him time to solve the challenges facing the country.
Actor, John Dumelo, has stated that, though he lost several endorsements deals after campaigning for President Mahama in the run-up to the 2012 Elections, he however does not regret his actions.
“I actually lost some endorsements deals because I did something for the NDC. I don’t regret it at all,” he said when speaking on Starr FM yesterday.
Dumelo also urged critics of President John Mahama to get off his back and give him time to solve the challenges facing the country. Stressing that, what the president needs to be able to solve the challenges in the country is help and not criticism.
“We should just give him [Mahama] time tosolve the problems, the problems are there but it’s four years, Rome wasn’t built in a day… and if after 2016 the problems are not solved then we know what to do?", he asked.
“But I think a lot of people are putting pressure on him and it’s not as if he doesn’t want tosolve the problems, he does so we should just give him time”, he added.
