Artiste manager reacts to Sarkodie’s ‘diss’ song

Sarkodieon March 5 released a single directed at the outspoken entertainment critic and Akwasi Aboagye, host of Peace FM’s Entertainment Review.
A sarcastic line in the song said Okraku-Mantey always talks about Sarkodie because of the love the former has for the latter, adding that perhaps how Okraku-Mantey speaks about him is an indication that he would beat him [Sarkodie] should he get hold of him.
While a section of the public regard the song as a swipe at Okraku-Mantey, he opines otherwise.

“He didn’t give a jab because for some of us, it’s because we love him that is why we criticise him. The last time I made a submission on people who have talent in this country, I mentioned Sarkodie… For some of us, we can’t watch such a talent sway,” he said on Hitz FM’s Daybreah Hitz, Tuesday.
It would be recalled that Okraku-Mantey sometime ago pledged never to comment on issues concerning Sarkodie. His decision was informed by an earlier remark on Sarkodie which resulted in Sammy Forson, manager of the artiste dig at him that he was unable to do anything significant with highlife artistes he once managed.
