Khloe Kardashian criticised for taking "Selfie" with baby tiger

Animal Rights Campaigners have expressed their displeasure over how some celebrities take advantage of wildlife animals.

Reality star, Khloe Kardashian, has been blasted by some angered Animal Right Campaigners after she posted  a picture of a tiger cub during her recent trip to Dubai on her Instagram account.

Silia Smith, Regional Director, North America for World Animal Protection said, “We're disappointed to see yet another celebrity posing with a wild animal. Tiger cubs belong in the wild, with their mothers, not in captivity for use as entertainment or photo props”.

“To people like Khloe Kardashian who love animals, our message is simple: see them in the wild,” Smith urged.

The Regional Director added, “While interacting with wild tigers may seem harmless, people posing with wildlife don't realise that a "once in a lifetime" photo for them means a lifetime of misery for the animal. To be used for entertainment, wild tigers are cruelly poached from the wild as babies or bred in captivity”.

She also warned that tigers are 'highly unpredictable' and have mauled several tourists, and sometimes have their canines removed at great distress in case of that.

The 30-year-old “Keeping Up With The Kardashian” star shared pictures of herself and wild animals including one which she was feeding a giraffe, cuddling an orangutan and kissing a stingray.
