Adomaa belongs to Talented Kidz instead – Artiste manager

His comment came on the back of assertions by some people that Adomaa did not deserve to win the unsung category at this year’s VGMAs.

Boss of Media Excel, Kwesi Ernest, has stated that

Adomaa who does a unique mixture of Jazz, soul and afrobeat beat competition from Nii Funny, Feli Nuna, Ebony Reigns, Perez and Wan O.

Per information, she will perform alongside Efya, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Bisa Kdei, among others at the main event.

Reacting to Adomaa’s victory, Kwesi Ernest, manager of SP Kofi Sarpong, Patience Nyarko and Joyce Blessing, said the VGMAs stage is too big for her.

According to him, Adomaa belongs to Talented Kidz, a competition organised by TV3 Network for kids.

“Adomaa is a toddler. Let’s allow the children to grow. We should not rush them. She belongs to the talented kids and the likes… VGMAs stage is too big for her. Talented kids is for grooming. She belongs to talented kids but certainly not the VGMAs,” he said on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz on Tuesday.

According to organisers of the VGMAs, the unsung is an initiative to project artistes who are doing well but have not had the exposure. Last year’s was won by Dark Suburb.

The event is slated for May 7, 2016 at the Accra International Conference Centre.
