Top 5 Worst Dressed Stars At The #AMVCA2015

There was glam and there was glitz, but the 2015 AMVCAs also saw some gaffes in the fashion department as well.

Some of the biggest names in film and television across Africa were at the glorious best during Saturday night’s AfricaMagic Viewers’ Choice Awards held in Lagos, Nigeria.  However not everyone scored a win in the fashion department, a few of the stars made things a little complicated by going for over the top flamboyance and sheer outlandishness. Here is our list of the Top 5 worst dressed stars at the AMVCA.

Denrele Edun

Nigerian TV personality, Denrele Edun is known for his eccentric excesses and he didn’t disappoint at the AMVCAs. He wore a feminine ensemble and was so proud to show himself off. The dress, a bejeweled yellow piece also had an extremely big opening at the back which Denrele was eager to show off on the red carpet. Just ridiculous!

Eku Edewor

AMVCA red carpet host, Eku Edewor decided to be a little daring by wearing this Samurai Warrior look to host the red carpet alongside Uti Nwachuku, Sika Osei and others.  A bold look but simply not elegant enough, just weird!

Susan Peters

Susan Peters could have looked elegant in this white gown if she didn’t carry along the ‘big bird’ cape.  She looked rather too fluffy and uncomfortable.

Adunni Ade

Red hot but not quite red carpet glam!! Adunni Ade looked more slutty than sexy in this red sheer dress that did nothing for her body type and age. Just tacky!!!

Belinda Effah

Actress Belinda Effah wore an African print dress to represent her roots, but with hair like this, she looked more than a branch to the tree than the roots.
