According to the Public Relation Manager for Ghana Mountaineers, Delali Kotoka, Warren Miller’s“Chasing Shadows” is the most esteemed name in Winter Sports films across America and Europe respectively. This year’s instalment of the iconic winter sports film series celebrates why skiers and snowboarders commit themselves every winter to a passion that’s guaranteed to melt away every spring.

Warren Miller once said “A pair of skis is the ultimate transportation to freedom and in this year’s film, Chasing Shadows, skiers and snowboarders find that very freedom as they chase storms, snow and the world’s highest peaks.”

Though Ghana does not have any skiing activities, there is an ample amount of interest in the outdoors and adventure. This initiative by Ghana Mountaineers as adventurers and hikers is to inspire viewers to search out their dreams and find freedom. As Ghana also continues to embrace adventure tourism and hikes, it is a step further to brand Ghana, put the sector on a higher pedestal and on the world tour list of Warren Miller Entertainment for the first time ever in Ghana and West Africa.

The movie screening will take place at the German Swiss International School, Accra, off Ring Road, Nima Traffic light on Saturday 27 February, 2016 at 17:30 GMT.

Coupled with other activities and performances for the day, will be a special guest artiste performance from the Black Star Line artiste Trey LA to grace the event.
