Actor, Agya Koo has said that he remains unbeatable in the movie industry.

According to him, no actor has been able to equal his achievements despite his absence from starring in movies for several years. His exit, he claims has created a big vacuum in the industry because his sense of humour, maturity and creativity cannot be seen in any actor.

Agya Koo who alleges that he was axed by movie producers for diabolic reasons insisted on Radio Univers’ mid-morning show, hosted by Abrantepa that he is indispensable.

“The movie industry was sinking until I set in. I am indispensable and the truth can never be hidden. If someone helps uplift the image of an industry and you diabolically plan towards him, do you think there will be further improvements in that industry?” he quizzed.

Adding: “Gone are the days when people bought movies even before they were released unto the market. Now market is not booming because those of us who are capable of attracting viewers have been neglected. When you speak the truth, people label you as arrogant. I am a gifted actor. The president rewarded me for my good works so if you won’t recognise my prowess, suit yourself”.

Born Alexander Kofi Adu, Agya Koo has over the years accused movie producers of blacklisting him from featuring in their movies. But the producers explained that the actor exhibited gross arrogance and disrespect on location and set – a reason for their decision not to engage his services for years. They also accused him of charging exorbitant prices.
