Latest instalment "Spectre" to open at the Mexican Day of the Dead

The latest installment in the iconic James Bond franchise will see the legendary British spy, played by Daniel Craig, race against time to bring down an evil plot at the Mexican festival, a ritual dating back thousands of years.

News of the opening sequence has been revealed in a behind-the-scenes video, in which it was also confirmed the sequence will feature as many as 1,500 extras.

A behind-the-scenes video has revealed 'Spectre' will open at the Mexican Day of the Dead. The latest installment in the iconic James Bond franchise will see the legendary British spy, played by Daniel Craig, race against time to bring down an evil plot at the Mexican festival, a ritual dating back thousands of years.Looking forward to the opening sequence of the movie, make-up designer Naomi Donne pledged: "It's going to be the most visually exciting opening for a Bond movie, ever."News of the opening sequence has been revealed in a behind-the-scenes video, in which it was also confirmed the sequence will feature as many as 1,500 extras.This comes shortly after it was suggested the Bond franchise could be set to move movie studios.'Spectre' is the last scheduled film for Sony Pictures and it's been speculated the brand will soon switch to Warner Bros due to the strong relationship between the company's Chief Executive, Kevin Tsujihara, and MGM Chief Gary Barber.TomRothman, Sony Pictures Entertainment Motion Picture Group Chairman, said: "The reality is that Sony's had a fantastic run with the Bonds."Sure we're going to compete for (the rights), but let's be honest, so is everybody in the business."
