Netflix renews drug war drama for 2nd season

Netflix new drug war drama which premiered over the weekend, has been renewed for a second season. Watch a trailer.

It's good news time for all fans who are already hooked on to Netflix's new drug war drama 'Narcos.'

Less than a week since its premiere, Netflix has renewed the dramawhich focuses on the hunt for notorious cocaine kingpin Pablo Escobar, for a second season.

These was announced via the show's official Twitter account.

The first trailer for show was released after the prison escape of El Chapo, who is considered the Pablo Escobar of this generation.

'Narcos' is the true story of the U.S. and Colombian efforts to battle the Medellin cartel during the cocaine-fueled drug wars of the 1980's.

'Narcos'  was created by Chris Brancato, Eric Newman, and Carlo Bernard.

Starring Wagner Moura as Pablo Escobar, Boyd Holbrook, and Pedro Pascal, the complete 10-episode of first season was released on Netflix on August 28.
