1. The season made its debut with lots of Walkers – hungry, eager and desperate herd of walkers.

2. The episode also came with lots of flashbacks, which offered viewers a look at what happened after Rick shot Pete in front of all Alexandria.

3. Rick and Morgan discovered a massive quarry filled with trapped walkers.  Now we know  the reason Alexandria has remained safe from zombie attacks is because there is a massive stone quarry not far from the community.

4. Rick killed Carter. A rogue zombie already ripped off half of Carter’s face, and then Rick simply helped  put him out of his misery.

5. The episode came to an end with the walkers headed toward Alexandria.
