Coldplay have released their collaboration with Beyoncé, 'Hymn For The Weekend'.

It is the third studio recording from their seventh album 'A Head Full Of Dreams' to be dropped in full, following lead single 'Adventure Of A Lifetime' and 'Everglow', which features Gwyneth Paltrow.

'Hymn For The Weekend' was premiered as BBC 1 Annie Mac's Hottest Record In The World yesterday (November 30). Following the record's first play, Annie Mac spoke to Coldplay's bassist to discuss the track.

Speaking about the song's chorus, which contains the line 'drink from me', Berryman said, "It started off being quite a different kind of vibe. Chris was wanting to write a sort of party song, and the words were 'drinks on me, drinks on me'.

"We said to him, 'Look: you can't say that, you can't get away with that.' So the whole story of the song changed – then he asked Beyoncé to sing on it and she very kindly said she would. It was amazing, she came in, she did her thing, she was unbelievably professional. I think she was in and out in five minutes."
