The 27-year-old actress and single mother who has starred in several movies and stage plays is also a lover of good music thus, she has her favourite musicians. In an exclusive interview with the “Candle in the Wind” actress, she disclosed her top 5 favourite Ghanaian musicians.

In no particular order, here are Elaine Attoh’s 5 favourite Ghanaian musicians;

1. Efya

Jane Fara Fauzzier Afia Boafowaa Yahaya Awindor aka Efya is among the list of Elaine’s favourite musicians. The Afro-pop, Neo-soul and Jazz performer is rated among the best Ghanaian female vocalist. Apart from her delightful stage performance, she has won several awards including Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

2. Stonebwoy

The Reggae, Dancehall, Ragga and Afro-pop artiste also made it to Elaine Attoh’s favourite musicians list. The 28-year-old singer from Ashaiman, Accra is counted among the most successful Ghanaian music exports. He was adjudged the Best International Act: Africa at last year’s BET Awards.

3. Sarkodie

Sarkodie is no doubt one of the best rappers in the music industry and maybe that’s why Elaine Attoh loves him. The one time BET Award winner is also among the most successful musicians of our time.

4. Anita Afriyie

Anita is a Gospel musician and the lady behind the popular Gospel song “Adehye Mogya” and she’s on Elaine’s playlist. Anita Afriyie is among the successful Gospel musicians. She received two nominations at the 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards for her song “Adehye Mogya”.

5. Cwesi Oteng

Elaine Attoh loves Cwesi Oteng’s songs. The BBnZ Live signed artiste who recently declared his support for Nana Akufo Addo, the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is counted among the successful Gospel musicians with numerous awards.
