David Oscar Set To Challenge Shatta Wale And Samini For 'Dancehall King' Crown

Popular Ghanaian comedian, David Oscar is set to release a new Dancehall single in a bid to snatch the 'Dancheall King' crown from Shatta Wale and Samini.

Reports of popular satirist’s upcoming Dancehall single release hit social media a while ago. Many websites witnessed heavy buzz as curious readers scrambled to read articles based on this revelation.

Reports suggest that one of the most successful Ghanaian comedian, David Oscar has sent fury filled tweets, calling out Shatta Wale and Samini -- threatening to take their “slice of zion.” He accused the two rivals of producing diss tracks and ignoring the need to inspire, the solution.

David Oscar, who announced recently that he is preparing to release an inspirational Dancehall single titled “Blow”, stated that after the track release, “the world will know who the true Dancehall king is”.

One person that seemed to have observed David Oscar’s rants is the self-acclaimed Dancehall King, Shatta Wale. The 2013 VGMA's "Artiste Of The Year" award winner couldn’t sit quietly and watch his throne threatened thus, he chose to send out an silent warning to David Oscar.

The warning was in the form of an instagram photo-post, captioned “I see dem”. Shatta’s short captioned may be an attempt to calm his fans and make them aware that he’s ready for the “Blow”. Shatta may also be defending his territory.
