Ghanaian musician loses mum to Atomic junction explosion

Queen Haizal's mother died during the explosion that occurred at Atomic junction on Saturday 7th October, 2017, according to reports.

Zionfelix.net reports that the music artiste revealed that in the melee that followed the explosion, a car knocked down her mother, Beatrice Fyn, as she tries to escape the disaster.

The report said that three others passed away instantly, but her mother met her untimely death at the hospital. Queen Haizel, who could not hold back her tears revealed that her mother was her only hope, as her father is currently battling with ailments.

Her mother, Fynn, who was 48 years at the time of her death left behind three children, including Queen Haizel.

On Saturday 7th October 2017, an explosion occured at Atomic junction in Accra, causing extensive damage to property. Sources indicate that about 7 persons lot their lives, and several others were rushed to various medical facilities.

Information available to YEN indicates that president Akufo-Addo has instructed the National Petroleum Commission (NPA) to ensure that high risk fuel stations are shut down in a maximum of 30 days.

The Ghana National Fire Service is also conducting thorough investigations into the unfortunate incident.
