Edem reveals failed collab with Shatta Wale & Patoranking, talks about Sarkodie’s "New Guy"

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian rapper and Volta Regime Music Group boss, Edem, has revealed that he had a collaboration with Shatta Wale and Nigeria's Patoranking but due to some issues, it was withheld.

In an interview with Dr Pounds on Pluzz FM, Edem said "One of the most anticipated collaboration is myself, Bandana (Shatta Wale) and Patoranking. We were supposed to do the remix of 'Wiced & Bad' but we pulled the plaque on that song.

"He (Shatta Wale) is my day one brother so definitely we will do something for the fans because they've been asking for it wherever I meet them."

Touching on Sarkodie's "New Guy" song with Ace Hood, he said the song is good but wished he should have given the production work to Ghanaian.

Finally, the rapper's favourite rapper across the African continent is Ghana's very own youngster, Gemini.
