Jojo Abot returns with the official music video for ‘Pi lo lo’.

The new video was directed by the singer and shot in Copenhagen, Denmark by Ako Kurnosenko and Michael Phillip.

“This video for me was about expressing the intricacies of being a woman and human, a truly perplexing subject”, the singer said in an email to Pulse Nigeria.

In the video, the Ghanaian born singer is seen sporting a tribal scarf and ethnic make up. The video shows just her face and a silhouette of her body. With her body movement, she channels different characters.

“These alternating characters represent our ‘good vs evil’, ‘rebellious’ vs. ‘conforming’, ‘spiritual’ vs. ‘fleshly’ sides and the continuous cycle of choice throughout life knowing fully well that there are repercussions to bear”, she shared.

‘Pi lo lo’ produced by Abot and Jonas Rendbo is off her debut EP “Fyfya Woto”.

The musician currently resides in Denmark.
