“Save A Life” Concert Still To Come Off Despite The Demise Of His Father

The managers of celebrated Ghanaian highlife Musician Kwabena Kwabena, have assured fans that the ‘Save a Life’ concert scheduled for November 22nd will not be called off, although the Musician is mourning his father’s death.

The ‘Adult Music’ star’s father, Samuel Boadu, on Thursday succumbed to a long illness at his home, Achimota.

Kwabena Kwabena’s manger, Nelson Ansong has told Starr Entertainment that although he is currently devastated over his loss, he is positive about going ahead with the show.

“Right now because he lost his dad yesterday, we are holding on with some of the preparations that directly involve him, but the show will not be cancelled. He wants to do it. It will come off on Saturday as planned.”

Kwabena Kwabena in an interview on Thursday said that, he was convinced his father will rest in peace.

“He has been very sick for some time now and unfortunately he couldn’t make it. He passed away this morning but what can I say, God knows best and in everything we have to give God the praise. May his soul rest in peace and I believe God will find a better place for him,” he told Accra-based Peace FM.

The 2014 ‘Save a Life’ concert comes off on Saturday, November 22nd at the Adae Kesse Hall at the La Palm Beach Hotel in Accra.

Some of the stars on the bill include Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Yaw Sarpong and Asomafo, No Tribe, Tagoe Sisters, VVIP, Kalybos, Efya, Samini, Becca, M.anifest, Okyeame Kwame and some surprise acts.
