"Patapaa paid me GHC20 to record 'One Corner'" - producer

Mr Loyalty has revealed that Ghanaian artist Patapaa has shown gross disrespect to him.

According to his version of events, the producer says he recorded the “One Corner” song for a fee of GHC20 with the deal that Patapaa will return and pay homage when he was successful in his music career.

He admitted that he was forced to record Patapaa since he had no money to produce his song despite his appeals’ for financial support.

The Agona Swedru based producer revealed to Andy Dosty on Hitz FM that the young artist has completely ignored him since the “Once Corner” song became a success.

He further revealed the he had to put in his own financial resources and assisted in writing the rap lines to make the entire song complete.

“Patapaa said 'please help me and I will never forget you'. He gave me 20 cedis for the song. Aside One Corner, we have about four songs and he convinced me to be part of his life but he is betraying me today” the producer revealed.

Mr Loyalty is now demanding for GHC1500 from Patapaa as payment for his intellectual property.

“One Corner” song is currently a national hit with massive airplay and strong social media influence in Ghana and beyond
