Once again, I have the privilege to share with you my review and insight on Ghanaian rap artist Edem's yet to be released music video for "Girlfriend" which features sexy songstress and diva Raquel.

Just as described in the title of this post, the video shot by Nana Asihene with concept developed by Edem himself comes as a mini movie which would be understood by all including the one who are hearing the song for the first time. (In fact, my PA had the chance to watch the video and could easily narrate the whole story to me)
Just like any highly rated piece of art, Girlfriend leaves enough room to be filled by the viewer who right at the first scene of the mini movie asks himself what he might have missed since the music video starts with Raquel (Edem's girlfriend) run from one room to the other just to pack her belongings.
Edem is then seen following her trying to apologize for cheating on her. He tries to restrain Raquel from packing her belongings but she will not budge. From one room to the other, Edem continues with his plea but it seems Raquel has decided already.

Even in such a disappointing mood, her love for Edem keeps her waiting to hear exactly what Edem has to say and just right there, another drama unfolds.
Raquel finds a lipstick on a wine glass right in front of her causing her to explode. The drama doesn't stop as right across the hall, another lady a sexy bikini and brassier moves in all happy with a glass of wine dancing to music in her headphone.
The video was shot at one colourful location but with different scenes and ends with a flashback that answers the earlier questions a viewer would ask.
At this moment, you can only anticipate what would happen. Would Edem continue his plea or allow Raquel to go? They say a bird in hand is better than none. Girlfriend drops on the 31st of July 2015.
