Gospel singer donates to Royal seed orphanage

Obaapa Christy used the occasion to thank family and friends for their unfailing support and guidance before and after she released her new album

Gospel singer, Obaapa Christy has honoured her promise by donating part of her proceeds of her latest album, Hyebre Sesafo to Royal Seed Orphanage at Ofankor in the Greater Accra Region.

She made the promise during the launch of her hyebre Sesafo album in April, last year.

The Okramanfuno Ba singer donated GH¢1000 and other items including a bags of rice and sugar, toiletries, detergents, noodles, cartons of milk, mattresses and boxes of mineral water.

Presenting the items to the management of the orphanage, Obaapa Christy said the donation was to encourage the staff of the orphanage to continue with their good work.

In addition, some friends of the singer also supported the orphanage with GH¢500.Founder of the orphanage, Ms Naomi Amoah, receiving the items  thanked the singer and her friends for their generous donation and constant prayers. Ms Naomi ,added the money and the items will be utilised effectively to provide better lives for the children.
