Shatta’s Insult is Not The First So I Am Not Bothered

Obuor has replied to the insults saying it is not the first time the dancehall artist has offended him so he is not bothered about it at all.

Soon after the grand launch of 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, the self acclaimed dancehall King Shatta Wale,  took to social media to rain insults on the president of MUSIGA, Bice Osei Kuffuor popularly known as ‘Obuor’.

Obuor has however replied to the insults saying it is not the first time the dancehall artist has offended him so he is not bothered about it at all.

Speaking on the Late Night Celebrity Show, Obuor also added that the older MUSIGA members do bombard him all the time so if the young ones do it, he doesn’t let it worry him.

“..i heard but it wouldn’t be a first time…but as a leader of an organization, that you work with people you should know you cant’s satisfy all the people so I take it in good faith. I get these punches…. I even get them from the bigger musicians so when I get it from the younger ones, it doesn’t tickle me”, he stated

“I get punches from Gyedu Blay Ambolley who is like my God-father in the music industry so for Shatta who is my boy when he throws it, it’s easy”, he said.

He also added saying “I think the comments he passed are a bit personal and once I know that’s not what it is, I take it as one of the comment that any other artist will pass”.

The “Konkontibaa” singer also said that Shatta’s comments was probably because he was not happy with the nominations though he is not part of this year’s Vodafone Music Awards nominations as he requested for his name to be removed.
