Not to be fooled by his pretty-boy looks, the rapper and model is a strong Hip-hop head making waves in Switzerland and across Europe- opening for Kid Ink, Lloyd Banks, Mario, Omarion and others. His buzzing works include "Live For Today", "Check Me Out Remix", and "Get It Poppin". He has also featured on the "All Star Remix" with wicked entertainment, "Won’t Quit" with RVRE Society, "Slight Work Remix" with Swizzz Dream and Let’s Do It with Swizzz Dream.

Born Perry Kwami Batwell Latzoo, Pretty Prince was born in Los Angeles, USA, and moved to Ghana at age 7 where he attended Prince of Peace and later Sunrise School in Volta Region. At age 13, he moved to Switzerland with his family.

His journey into music like most musicians started at a very young age. “I started as a dancer when I was in Ghana, I loved dancing and when I got to Switzerland, I continued. I love music so much; I listened to Michael Jackson, Tupac, 50 Cent and others during most of my free times. I then decided to try it myself. I was around 15. The people who influenced me are Michael Jackson and Tupac.”

On some of the challenges and highlights of his music and showbiz career so far, PrettyPrince says, “Showbiz in Switzerland is not like in other countries; life in Switzerland is about working or schooling. However, I have managed to chalk some successes due to my determination. Check Me Out Remix has over 20 000 views on YouTube, Let’s Do It andSlight Work have over 30 000 views.”

He continued, “People really loved the All Star Remix too with Wicked Entertainment. I have also done opening shows for a couple of big artists such as Kid Ink, Lloyd Banks, Mario, Omarion and others. Some of these shows are on YouTube. I also won a modelling competition with a plane ticket to NY and I’m currently one of the judges of Swiss MostBeautiful, a beauty pageant in Switzerland headed by a Ghanaian, Mabelle Prior.”

Although relatively unknown for his music in Ghana, Pretty Prince is excited by the response to his music so far since his visit. He commented, “Ghanaians have been showing me much love. Sometimes, in the streets some people come to me and tell me they love what I do, my style and that, they loved my performance on TV 3. I appreciate it.”

On the future, Pretty Prince says Ghanaian should expect great, ” My future plans for music are: doing more music, making the world know about me and my music, and inspiring and encouraging people and the youth as well. Ghanaians should expect great music, my style is different and they will love it.”
