Flowking Stone talks about upcoming solo album “Gifted”

Pulse.com.gh got in touch with rapper Flowking Stone to discuss his upcoming solo project titled “Gifted”. Get to know all you need to know about his solo project below.

Award-winning Hiplife group, Bradez, has been one of the best duos the industry has ever produced. Five years ago, the industry welcomed two energetic stagecraft; Kunta Kinte and Flowking Stone, who brought evolution to the Hiplife fraternity. Unfortunately, tragedy struck Kunta which eventually led to the disappearance of the group from the industry.

The group’s conquest, Flowking Stone, single-handedly took the task of upholding the track records of the defunct group by going solo and releasing some hit records. From numerous tongue-twisting freestyles to longest bars, Flowking still remains one of the best rappers in the country.

Pulse.com.gh got in touch with him to discuss his upcoming solo project titled “Gifted”. The “Too Strong” rapper confirmed to us that, his solo project which happens to be his first studio album has over 17 tracks and features most of Ghana’s talented musicians and sound engineers.

“Some of my released singles such as ‘Me Kyea Kyea’ featuring Luther, ‘Too Strong’ featuring Lil Shaker and Ryan,’The Way You Are’, ‘God of the Spartans’, ‘Number 1’ featuring M.anifest and Dampo, and ‘Robot’ are all on the album.

“Already, I have over 17 songs on it (album) but I’m now compiling the tracks to put on the album,” he said.

The rapper also disclosed that, the project features Ghanaian multiple award-winning wordsmith M.anifest, Dancehall youngster Episode, OM in-house engineer and rapper Cabum, ‘rap dacta’ Okyeame Kwame, BBnZ Live’s Lil Shaker, ‘Puom’ boss Ras Kuuku and a host of other top Ghanaian stars.

Touching on the release day, the ‘3D’ rapper revealed to us that his management is still deliberating on the release date but fans should expect a surprise on his birthday which happens to be July 13.

“We are still deliberating on the release date. We still haven’t come out with a particular date but I want to do something special on my birthday which is 13th July. It’s could be the release of the album or another thing,” he concluded.
