Rapper AJ Nelson has topped the charts for the first time as Shatta Wale grabs double spots, and Stonebwoy and M.anifest making entry.
AJ Nelson knocked out Shatta Wale from the top with the video for his latest single titled “Power To The People” featuring androgynous singer, Wiyaala Noella. The video which was directed by Nana Yaw Berima has crossed the shores of Ghana and making good waves on some local and international screens.
Shatta Wale, who topped the chart with the video for his Afrobeats/Afro-pop single titled “Baby” (Chop Kiss), has grabbed another spot even though he lost the top spot to AJ Nelson. His video for “Kakai” has entered the chart this week and his “Chop Kiss” places second this week.
Wiyaala’s beautiful video for “Leno” places third on the chart this week. The classic and in-depth storyline video is a Djimba World Production directed by Charlotte Appleton and shot on location in East Yorkshire and St Mary's Abbey, York, courtesy of the Yorkshire Museums Trust.
