The self-produced Afro-Dancehall track went viral than we all thought. The song which was released a few months ago got everyone’s feet moved including the Black Stars’ captain, Asamoah Gyan.

2. Ay3 Late by Pappy Kojo featuring Sarkodie

Pappy Kojo started off this year with “Ay3 Late” featuring Sarkodie and probably ending the year with it. With catchy and magical hooks, Pappy Kojo got everyone singing to the Hip-hop/Hiplife track produced by Kuvie.

3. Pimpinaa by Obrafour featuring Bisa Kdei

“Pimpinaa” is the song that made Obrafour’s complete comeback successful. Released in February this year, produced and featuring Bisa Kdei, the track has broken through major barriers and seen itself enjoying massive airplay across the country.

4. Makoma by R2bees

R2Bees’ classic contemporary Highlife track “Makoma” trended for weeks after it dropped in March this year. It has had over 10 covers including Koo Ntakra, Strongman and France based Ghanaian duo Bosslife’s covers. The song produced by Kaywa has received massive applause from Ghanaians.

5. Telemo by Gasmilla featuring Capasta

With a hook that’s engrained in your head midway through the song and instant exposure for Joy Daddy Bitters, “Telomo” has broken many records this year. This song doesn’t need introduction because it has done enough to be described as a hit track. From stage performances to endorsement deals, “Telemo” gave Gasmilla a huge career boost this year.

6. Mansa by Bisa Kdei

“Mansa” is among the most searched songs in Ghana this year according to Google Trends. Produced by Kaywa, the track has found itself everywhere across the country – from the streets to night clubs.
