The Ghanaian reggae singer is set to drop a new album- ‘Breaking News’ – and he has recruited a number of top Nigerian acts to collaborate on the project.

Tiwa Savage, Ice Prince and Phyno, all have confirmed guest appearances on the album, which is generally seen as a comeback LP for the reggae singer. The album is also expected to further penetrate the Nigerian market.
“The whole idea is to re-ignite my Nigerian fan base and you will also agree with me that they have a huge market out there and I intend to tap into that, that’s why I have Tiwa Savage, Ice Prince and Phyno on the album.” Samini said.
‘Breaking News’ was scheduled for release in April, but that has been moved forward due to delays from his A&R team. They would rather prefer he releases a few singles before unveiling the complete body.
“The album release was projected for April but there was a delay, a few singles have been lined up for release off the album”. Samini said.
“I know people will be contemplating what ‘Breaking New’s is all about and I will leave them to do that till its release.”
