"Prez Nana Addo believes in Bawumia" - rapper reveals on "Highest" album

Sarkodie has stated that the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo believes in his vice, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

Even in less than 24 hours, the album topped iTunes GH chart and later dominated the global charts.

Fans and critics are already decoding his lyrics, trying to find some revelations he made on the album.

Sarkodie made a lot of revelations on the album but what caught our attention is when he decided to dedicate one of his bars to politics.

In the 2:59 minutes Hip-hop track, Sarkodie delivered his usual fast rap saying: “ɛneɛma mienu na ebetumi ada wo nsa/Watch ne handcuff/Nea wo pɛ sɛ wode kɔ tɔ tuo no, sesa na fa tɔ laptop/Cos chale ɛnkyɛ na nipa adi amia/Nti yɛbɛyɛ dea ehia/Ghanafoɔ mo ngye me nni na mo mfa ahenkyɛ no mma me sɛnea Nana Addo believe Bawumia”.

It’s unclear whether Sarkodie meant his verse or was just trying to rhyme with that verse but hey, this is music. After all, if Nana Addo hadn’t believed in Bawumia, he wouldn’t have given him the chance to run the presidency.
