Hiplife grandpapa, Reggie Rockstone has escalated attacks on sound engineer Zapp Mallet, musician Sidney and television personality Root Eye for their comments that he is not the originator of the Hiplife music genre.

Reggie Rockstone, over the years, has been credited as being the originator of hiplife
The member of VVIP is asking the trio to stop behaving like ladies in their menses.
Reggie Rockstone who was the first to release a hiplife album titled, , has over the years been credited as the originator of the genre.

However, veteran sound engineer and music producer, Zapp Mallet who had kept mute on the issue came out few days ago to say that he originated the name ‘Hiplife’.

These developments were after Sidney and Mr Root Eye questioned Reggie Rockstone’s claims.
Sidney has said that before Reggie Rockstone came down to Ghana, there were hiplife artistes and so sees no reason why Reggie should call himself the originator of the genre.

Mr Root Eye has also argued that the term came from Zapp Mallet after a debate on which name to use for the genre during one of their evening studio sessions in Combine House of Music (CHM) Studio at Mataheko in Accra.
Reggie Rockstone after responding to the taunts took to his twitter handle and punched the trio again.
He also stated that Sidney who happens to be his cousin has not called him after he made such remarks.
