Drake’s new album breaks his old record on music streaming platform

Canadian rapper, Drake last week surprisingly dropped an album titled and according to Spotify, the new project from Drizzy has broken his record on the music streaming platform.

The new album has broken Spotify's US record for streams of an album in its first week, hitting 17.3 million streams in just three days, beating the 15.8 million streams his last album, Nothing Was The Same did in its first week.

The new album also set a record for most streams in a single day for an album in the U.S. with 6.8 million streams on Saturday.

The numbers of this particular album has been impressive.

According to , the album will sell about 500,000 units in its first week.
