Pope Skinny

American multiple award-winning rap artiste, Snoop Dogg, seems to be making mockery of Ghanaian rap act and radio personality, Pope Skinny, over his rap style. Snoop was seen talking about how recent rappers' lyrics doesn't make sense to him in an interview on TV which went viral on social media.

According to Snoop, some rappers fast pace raps doesn't make sense, lack writing skills and even made similar rap freestyle on the show.

After watching to his interview, Pulse.com.gh went through our archives to see which Ghanaian song is similar to what he is saying and we came across Pope Skinny's infamous single "Freedom of Speech" which was released September last year.

Pope Skinny took on the government, politicians, his co-artistes, pastors, police, civilians and Ghanaian radio DJs on the controversial track but his rap style is similar to what Snoop Dogg was referring to if not the same.
