According to Malla, the video is exceptional and one of its kind.

Contrary to the public view that “Pieto” is a profane song, Yaw Malla has said it has nothing to do with profanity. In an interview, the young rapper disclosed that the song is just fun but not profane as many claim.

"The title ’Pieto’ might sound explicit to listeners but that is not the case. It’s more fun when you listen to the song. The whole concept of the song is about a young guy having an affair with a lady. They once went out to chilling and on their return, they engaged in a ‘hot battle’ but the lady couldn’t stand the heat so she runs away and left her pant behind.  If you attentively listen to the song, you would realise that there’s no profanity in it," Yaw Malla disclosed in an interview.

Speaking about why it took him so long to release the 2014-released song, Yaw said his decision was influenced by a popular request.

“The song was released in 2014 but by popular request by fans, I decided to shoot a video for it. Peewezel produced the song and Abdel Hafiz Salif,” he said.

Yaw disclosed that the video will be out this Friday, October 7.

“Initially, I planned to release the video on October 1st but there were a few issues that needed to be addressed first so I have postponed to Friday, October 7,” he said.

He urged his fans to expect something spectacular. “Fans should expect something spectacular,” Yaw Malla concluded.
