Halloween is a huge holiday in America and increasingly other Western nations - but what about Ghana?

Halloween falls on October 31 each year, though people generally celebrate over the closest weekend. For kids, it means 'trick or treating'  - they dress up and go door to basically begging for sweets.

In America, houses will be decked out with creepy decorations, and you may see some carved pumpkins.

For adults and teens, Halloween is more about the party. Houses, bars and clubs host Halloween-themed parties, whether that's to show scary movies, or more about drinking and dancing - and this is the aspect Ghana has seemed to adopt.
