Perk organises Ghana's first ever silent party

While silent parties have gained popularity around the world, they are yet to take hold in Ghana.

Nutrifoods Ghana Limited, producers of Perk Milk Shortcake biscuits, has organised Ghanas first ever silent party dubbed Perk Hush Party.

While silent parties have gained popularity around the world, they are yet to take hold in Ghana.

A silent party is simply a dance party where there is no ambient music, instead, all the music is transmitted wirelessly through headphones.

There were two of Ghana's finest DJs on rotation including, Africa's number one DJ Black and DJ Virusky, at the Perk Hush Party which came off on October 14 at one of the University of Ghana's hostels.

The party goers had the option of switching between the DJs for their favourite songs creating a kaleidoscope of dance patterns all over the dance floor.

Perk Milk Shortcake biscuits have been on the Ghanaian market for less than two years and it’s already become a household name in Ghana. Known for its trendy blue package, a richness of real milk with unique biscuit design, Perk Milk Shortcake biscuits has delighted many consumers since its launch.

According to Pearl Annor, the Brands Manager of Nutrifoods Ghana, the party was their way of showing appreciation to their loyal customers through its value as a ‘personal mood-uplifter’.
