2Face Idibia in Accra to raise funds for premature babies

2Face is joining LittleBigSouls, an international charitable organisation to hold a fundraising event at Alisa Hotel on Saturday, November 14.

Nigerian singer, 2Face Idibia is in Accra to raise funds for premature babies in the country.

The event which is under the theme: “African Royalty,” seeks to raise money to complete the Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) centre at the Tema General Hospital and also to set up a new KMC centre of excellence.

“Kangaroo Mother Care” is a low-cost intervention which encourages skin to skin contact between new mothers and preemies as a proven way to improve breathing, body temperature, feeding and bonding in the stable new-borns.
