Charter House doesn’t owe No Tribe a car – George Quaye

He said Charter House does not owe anybody a car prize, as it has nothing to do with which award goes to the VGMA artist of the year.

George Quaye - PRO for Charter House

The Public Relations Officer for Charter House, organizers of the annual Vodafone Music Awards (VGMA) George Quaye, has responded to a threat from the music duo No tribe, concerning a car prize that comes with winning the VGMA artiste of year.

George in his quest to make things clear explained the distinct roles Charter House plays in the award ceremony and that of the Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGA).

"Charter House is there to create a platform for these artistes to show the world their talent and musical prowess and that the car prize is an initiative of MUSIGA with support from Kantanka." Quaye said.

“The thing is that Charter House does not owe anyone a car, MUSIGA is, but I am convinced that work is in progress and very soon they will get their car. Maybe it is because there is some delay somewhere,” he said.
