Berla Mundi was said to have posted a photo of Rihanna wearing an oversized Denim outfit as she walked the streets of New York on her Snapchat. In posting the photo she also questioned the look which did not sit well with several fashion insiders and pundits who follow on the App.

Online Ghanaian Portal, Unartiste.co in an article called out the Glitterati TV host on her motive for criticising Rihanna.

In the piece which has since gone viral, it lambasted Berla Mundi calling her a ‘copycat’ in reference to a gown she wore to the Glitz Style Awards and accused her of not having the right knowledge in such matters.

“How dare you come for her when you copy her style!  When you made an ugly version of her Giambattista Valli gown to the Grammys. A gown approved by Blue Ivy herself. You made a blue version and ran out of fabric. Instead of judging her style I wish you would sit down and evaluate yours and make some drastic changes. Don’t go dragging someone who’s style you are ripping off.” It said

Several tweeps jumped on the post and trolled the beauty some more.

This Twitter user, however, did not agree with the rest and felt it was just a publicity stunt

Berla Mundi, first came into the spotlight after she participated in the Miss Malaika reality show in 2010 where she placed 2nd. After the reality show, she branched into Television with GHone’s Rhythmz Show and later radio as an entertainment host on youth-oriented radio station, Live FM. Berla holds a degree in Psychology and Linguistics from the University of Ghana.  She was also adjudged the best-dressed radio and TV personality for 2016 by the Glitz Style Awards.
