Unemployed Man Jailed 3 Years For Thieving

The Bibiani Circuit Court has sentence an unemployed man to three years imprisonment, for allegedly stealing a laptop computer.

The convict Nurudin Tain, 20, was sentence after pleaded guilty to charges of unlawful entry, causing damage and stealing.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Emma Nadoma-Abokyi told the court, presided over by Mr. Kwadwo Baptist Kwadwo Filson, that the crime was committed at the Bibiani Zongo, on January, 22.The complainant, Foster Amponsah, had traveled to Kumasi, when Tain took advantage of the situation to break into his room to steal a laptop computer, Nokia and Motorola phones, valued at about GH¢1,475.He detected the theft on his return and decided to conduct his own investigations leading to the of arrest of the convict, prosecution said.
