The dancers have slashed their salaries by 10% in the hope that they can make a difference to the economic crisis in their country
Strippers across Moscow have slashed their salaries in a bid to save the Russian economy.
The erotic dancers were inspired by Vladimir Putin's own decision cut his own wage earlier this month.
The girls have revealed that they want to support their state after the Russian economy has nose dived in the past few months.
Vladimir Putin announced that he would be slashing his salary by 10% between now and December as the value of the ruble remains low and Russia's economy continues to struggle.
One of the dancers, named only as Alexander, said: "We have learned that Vladimir Putin has reduced his income, and we support the state [and] decided that we need to do the same."
Dmitry Grigoriev, general manager at the club, told Russian news station Life News that he was currently relying on overseas customers for the majority of his income.
He said: "This year, foreigners came more. We expect a number of tourists from abroad, particularly China."
But strip clubs all over the city have seen trade declining since the new year.
Many have tried to diversify and offer extra services, which include free drinks, lap dance experiences for couples and business lunches with an added striptease thrown in at the end.
