Suspect forced his girlfriend to abort so his child won't take after him

An armed robbery suspect who was concerned about his child taking after him said he had to force his girlfriend to abort a three months old pregnancy.

An armed robbery suspect in the Lagos State Police Command custody, Musliyu Ahmed, says he was very careful not to father a child so that such an offspring does not follow in his footstep of being a thief.

To this end, the 23-year-old suspect who was arrested with his three-man gang by the police in Ketu area of the state, said he had to force his lover to abort a three-month pregnancy because he did not want her to give birth to an armed robber like him.

Hear the considerate suspect:

"I had to force her to go for an abortion because I do not want her to give birth to a child, who will have the blood of an armed robber. And because she understands the nature of my job, she had to obey.
