Teachers boycott classes over shit bombing

Teachers have boycotted classes over excessive defecating in their classrooms.

Repeated cases of smearing classrooms with human excreta otherwise known as shit-bombing, has become a worry for authorities in the Amansie Central district in Obuasi of the Ashanti region, who have cautioned unidentified miscreants against the practice.

The latest of such acts occurred at the DA Primary School at Hia where teachers have boycotted classes over excessive defecating in their classrooms.

Headmaster of the school Martin Nnuro in an interview with Adom FM said the situation has persisted for so long and efforts to get the situation curbed have proven futile.

He said some unknown residents in the town have virtually turned the classrooms into a public place of convenience, forcing the teachers to close the school down until further notice.
