“Lance, I love you so much no matter what I just want you to come home,” Buckley said.

“I just want you home, baby. I love you. You’re the love of my life.”

Buckley was reported missing by his family at 7:49 p.m. Tuesday night, about 12 hours after his mother dropped him off near the university where he is completing his PhD in microbiology.

He reportedly sent a text to his wife around 10:16 a.m and has not been heard from or seen since.

Police say his purpose of visiting the school that Tuesday was to collect his "graduation packet" for graduation this Saturday.

Buckley is believed to have left his house with his gun which is also missing.
