Two unknown men, suspected armed robbers have been lynched and set ablaze by resident of Ayigya zongo, a suburb of Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti region, Starr FM reports.According to the reports, the suspects, believed to be in their mid-twenties , were burnt on Monday morning after they were caught attempting to snatch a laptop from a resident of the community at gun point around 4 AM.The suspects were set ablaze after they were soaked with petrol and paraded in the community.The residents claim they took the action because they no longer trust the police to give them justice should they report the case to them, Issac Bediako Justice, a repoter, addedThey have therefore vowed to kill any thief they arrest henceforth because they are being terrorised by robbers on daily basis.
