Pastor In Court For Sodomising 17 Year Old Girl

A 27 year old self styled pastor is has been remanded into police custody for allegedly sodomising a 17 year old girl.

According to reports by The Daily Guide, the victim, a university student,  gave evidence in chambers at an Accra Circuit Court presided over by Rita Budu-Agyemang  and narrated her side of the story to the court.The suspect, Kofi Adams, also known as Pastor Michael allegedly sodomised the university student under the pretext of exorcising evil spirits from her.Pastor Michael allegedly took the student through a bizarre spiritual bath at Hotel De Horses with just one small sized Voltic water bottle and inserted his fingers into the vagina of the student while screaming that the Holy Spirit should enter the victim.He had pleaded not guilty to indecent assault and unnatural carnal knowledge and had been remanded in police custody to reappear on March 18,2015.Prosecuting Officer ASP Sarah Acquah said the facts of the case are that the victim had been experiencing some spiritual attacks and was introduced to the suspect as someone who could help.According to her, on February 1, 2015 in the morning, the accused lured the complainant to Hotel De Horses at Katamanto in Accra for a spiritual bath where he paid GH¢20 for a room and invited her to go in with him.The prosecutor said the suspect made the victim to undress while he brought out a local sponge and a bar of soap to bath the victim and drive away the evil spirits haunting her.In addition, she said the taps at the hotel were not flowing so he poured some of the Voltic mineral water, he had on her buttocks and then proceeded to insert his fingers into her vagina.In addition, the police officer stated that after pouring the water all over her, Pastor Michael then poured some oil on her feet while he had his clothes on and started commanding the spirits to come into him and then hugged victim tightly.Explaining further, she added that the suspect held the victim’s arms tightly and then a few minutes later stood behind the victim, touched her buttocks and then pulled out his penis.The prosecutor said the suspect then told the victim, he was acting under the orders of the Holy Ghost and then pushed his penis into the anus of the victim who struggled to resist him but he overpowered her.The police officer observed that a few minutes later he left the victim and went home, adding that the victim went and narrated her ordeal to her mother so a complaint was lodged against Adams.
