A 40-year-old NewOrleansman was booked with felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile after police said they learned his adolescent girlfriend gave birth last week, according to court records.

A 40-year-old man has been arrested for felony carnal knowledge after his 16-year-old girlfriends new baby.

Evelio Marquez, 40, was arrested for felony carnal knowledge after he signed the birth certificate for his 16-year-old girlfriend's new baby.
According to NYdailys News reports, Police arrested 40-year-old Evelio Marquez last week while he was visiting his underage girlfriend and new baby in the hospital. He has charged him with felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile, the Times-Picayune reported.
The teen girl gave birth on March 2. She told detectives Marquez was her boyfriend and explained that they conceived their child in June 2014.

When police returned to the hospital two days later, they found Marquez’s signature on the baby’s birth certificate, confirming he was the biological dad. The 40-year-old showed up to visit mom and baby, and police cuffed him in the maternity ward.
Marquez is in jail on a $25,000(Ghc 89,000) bond.
