A Jamaican man stabbed his estranged wife to death and then and tried to kill a former partner because he was 'fed up of their nagging'.
Desmond Brooks, 42, of Brixton, South London, stabbed his wife Keisha McKenzie, 28, to death in front of their screaming seven year-old son during a horrific 30-minute knife rampage.
The Jamaican national launched into the "ferocious" 35-minute rampage of bloody violence at two flats in Brixton, south London, on the evening of July 29 2013, killing his wife Keisha McKenzie.
He was jailed for life with a minimum of 29 years at the Old Bailey today after pleading guilty to murdering his wife.
He was also sentenced to 19 years for the attempted murder of his ex-girlfriend plus 12 years for inflicting grievous bodily harm on his sister-in-law, all to run concurrently.
