JHS Pupil Electrocuted To Death

A 17-year-old boy lost his life when he was electrocuted to death under a high tension pole.

A 17 year old boy is said to have been electrocuted to death when he tried to cut a tree under a high tension pole on Monday.

The deceased, Ato Kwamina, was a pupil of the Ahamadiya JHS at Beposo Adeimbra in the Wassa East District, Western Region.

Kwamina, was electrocuted after he attempted to cut a tree under a High-tension pole on Monday.

The deceased, and two other pupils Emmanuel Eshun and George- were allegedly sent by their class teacher to a nearby forest to cut trees for him.

The class teacher has since been arrested in connection with the death  of the teenager.

Speaking with  Adom Fm, The Wassa District Police Commander, ASP Juliana Essel Dadzie,  who confirm the news, said they have apprehended the teacher who sent the pupil while investigations continue.
