Alleged wizard lands on roof of police station to take a break from traffic

Wonders they say shall never end as residents in Adenta woke up and saw a graybearded naked man on top of an uncompleted storey building.

An elderly man believed to be in his 60s was found naked on top of an uncompleted storey building at the Adentan taxi rank on Monday dawn.

The graybeard mysterious man, identified as Richard Ahamah, was spotted on top of the building by some neighbours at Monday dawn when they raised an alarm for others to catch a glimpse of the ill-looking old man.

In an eyewitness account, scores of people who gathered at the scene wanted to lynch the old man whom they accused as a wizard who had been exposed by a powerful force, but Richard Ahamah was rescued from the angry mob and sent to the Adentan police station for further investigations.

Richard Ahamah was also prayed for by a team of prayer warriors returning from a night vigil.

The alleged wizard when rescued told the police that, he is not a wizard as claimed and gave a contact of his brother to be contacted for clarification.

Ernest Ahamah, his elder brother when reached by phone said his brother might have found himself on the rooftop due to excessive drinking of alcohol.

“He possibly might have taken in some alcohol,” he said.
