A 26-year-old trainee Nurse of the Tanoso Community Health Training School drowned in the swimming pool at Sheikina Lodge, a Hotel at Abesim near Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region.

Supt. Alhaji Mohammed indicated that the body has since been deposited at the Brong Ahafo Regional Hospital morgue while the police continue investigations into the incident.

Dickson Frimpong had gone to the Hotel on Monday in the company of his friends to have fun.
The Brong Ahafo Regional Crime Officer, Supt Alhaji Mohammed Anane who confirmed the incident to Ark fm in Sunyani on Thursday, disclosed that the police are currently questioning a few people who were present at the scene to help them ascertain the cause of death.
According to him, the deceased who completed Tanoso Community Health went to school to visit some friends after which they decided to visit the hotel to have fun.
