Police Running Man dance off around the world

This week the New Zealand Police released a video of officers dancing in a car parking lot, doing the 'running man' – a hit dance move from the 1980s.

Now, police forces in New York and Scotland have taken up the NZ Police's challenge to do the dance.

The original New Zealand video has been viewed over 7 million times, and called on law enforcement fro m around the world to take on the Running Man challenge – the first video response was received from the NYPD.

The NYPD video called in reinforcement from local school children and passed the challenge onto Police Scotland, who have also responded.

The Scottish police are seen dancing in front of the Edinburgh Castle, and paying homage to their roots, there are kilts and a bagpipe featured, and a mix of the running man and Scottish jigs.
